Student Advisers
The Law Clinic has over 130 Student Advisers across all year groups including both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students must apply to join the Law Clinic. We are always oversubscribed and accept about 50 new members each year. All members must complete a training day kindly organized by our sponsors, Burge Salmon LLP. Members continue to receive training and updates throughout the year.
Neil Crowley (Winner of the Burges Salmon LLP Cup 2008) and David Hall (Partner, Burges Salmon LLP) Student Advisers work in teams of two or more. Inexperienced members are, where possible, teamed with experienced Advisers. All Student Advisers are placed into one of four Firms, each headed by a Firm Manager who sits on the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is drawn from experienced Student Advisers who are invited to apply for vacant positions in March each year. |
